to view the original December 1746 Article describing the escape of Prince Charles William Stewart (Bonnie Prince Charlie)
after the Battle of Culloden in April 1746 and briefly describing his travels and encounters until he escaped on a French
vessel in September 1746. This passage contains mention of him dressing up as a woman to avoid capture.
Pretty much a description that mentioned in the "Skyeboat Song". The Brittish and the non-Jacobites called
Prince Charlie "The Pretender". In the text of the document and in the old style, the S's are
replaced by F's. The Article is listed in the Contents under XII and starts on the bottom of the left page
continuing through most of the second page.
