…… John was born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains, weaned on jigs, reels, clog dances and bluegrass. The Celtic melodies, rhythms and lyrics have truly captured his heart and he concentrates primarily in the Celtic genre.

John’s influences include familial contacts and nearly anyone he has heard in the past. His down to earth, deep, rich, baritone voice is a blend of numerous styles and textures. He is heavily influenced by the Irish and Scottish groups of recent history and the ancient melodies of yesterday.

John is a member of the Celtic Society of Southern Maryland (CSSM).
